Private tour

A flexible and private 4 to 5-hour adventure in the heart of the National Park. Your guide will adapt the hikes and vehicle tours to your interests and pace, ensuring an intimate visit to the most emblematic spots. It is the perfect way to tailor your experience, culminating at Lapataia Bay—the end of all roads in the Americas.

Our Tierra del Fuego National Park adventure begins with the journey from Ushuaia, entering the breathtaking landscapes of the End of the World. As an exclusively private service, our expert guide will design the day’s itinerary to the traveler’s measure, adapting every stage to their preferences and interests.

We can visit Ensenada Zaratiegui or head directly to the points that interest you most. The pace is entirely flexible: you can choose to take longer hikes along the trails or prioritize vehicle tours to visit more attractions, such as Lake Acigami, Laguna Verde, Ovando River, and the Cormoranes Archipelago. We can even adjust the itinerary to include a ride on the End of the World Train.

The journey concludes at the iconic Lapataia Bay, which marks the end of National Route 3. After enjoying this landmark and its unique views, we will begin our return trip to Ushuaia with the satisfaction of having explored the National Park your way.

This schedule is a proposed morning itinerary. The start time can be adjusted to the passenger's preferences with prior coordination and subject to availability, ensuring the flexibility of our private service.

  • 08:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia.
  • 08:30 AM: Arrival and Exploration: Entrance to the National Park. We begin the tour by vehicle towards the Beagle Channel coast, visiting Ensenada Bay and its surroundings. Your guide coordinates the pace and the first short walks.
  • 09:30 AM: We tour by vehicle and explore on foot the main attractions: Lake Acigami, Laguna Verde, Ovando River, and the Cormoranes Archipelago. Walking times and photo stops are adapted to your preferences.
  • 12:00 PM: Final Landmark: Arrival at Lapataia Bay, the crowning point marking the end of National Route 3.
  • 01:00 PM: Arrival in Ushuaia after exploring the Park at our own pace.

Important Note: While the activity durations and the order of the stops are flexible and coordinated with the guide on the day of the tour, the start time must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability. All plans are tailored to the group's preferences, the time of year, and the guide's professional assessment.

The weather in Tierra del Fuego is known for its variability. It is not uncommon to experience sun, rain, and wind on the same day. Average temperatures in summer hover around 10°C (with variations between 5°C and 15°C), while in winter they are usually around 0°C. Being prepared is key to fully enjoying the experience.

Essential Clothing: The "Onion" Method

To ensure comfort during outdoor activities, dressing in layers is crucial. The "onion" system allows you to adapt your clothes to changing weather conditions and your level of physical activity.

  • Layers: Wear several thin layers that can be easily put on or taken off to regulate your body temperature in response to wind or sun.
  • Footwear: This is the most important item. We recommend waterproof footwear that offers robust protection, ideal for walking on wet, muddy, or snowy terrain.
  • Jacket: Essential. A waterproof or water-resistant jacket will effectively protect you from rain and wind.

Recommended Clothing:

  • Thermal undergarments (shirt and leggings for those who are particularly sensitive to the cold).
  • Comfortable long pants for trekking.
  • Waterproof trekking boots for walking on mountainous terrain.
  • A fleece or microfleece jacket/sweatshirt.
  • A rain/windproof jacket. Ideal: Gore-tex or softshell.
  • Warm hat and neck warmer (buff). Gloves.
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen.
  • Bringing your own bottle helps us avoid using disposable plastics: we will have water to refill it!
